The pattern of services for Holy week will be:

Palm Sunday 10 AM Eucharist and reading of the passion    

Holy Monday- 10 AM Eucharist and reflection

Holy Tuesday- 6 PM Eucharist and reflection

Holy Wednesday 10 AM Eucharist and reflection

Maundy Thursday 7 PM Eucharist of

          the Last Supper and Prayer Vigil

Good Friday 2 PM Good Friday Liturgy

Holy Saturday 6 PM A Vigil of Readings and Prayers


Easter Day 10 AM Eucharist with Blessing of the Easter Candle

                                      and Renewal of Baptismal Promises.


Midday Prayer and Night Prayer will not be live streamed during Holy Week. Please use the prayer booklet online if you would like to say them at home.

Please note the time of the Dawn Eucharist which will be live streamed from the Bishop’s Garden on Easter Day is 5am. – Information regarding the links to the diocesan and bishops service may be found in enews.

Clicking on that will take you to St Andrew’s Facebook Page and will leave a tab at the top of your screen to access the service sheet once the live stream has started.

The Benefice of Melton and Ufford

The reopening of the church buildings for public worship


We are delighted to be able to announce that the churches of our benefice

opened for public worship on Sunday 12th July.

The new schedule for worship until further notice is below:


First and Third Sunday of the month 10 AM said Eucharist at St Mary’s Ufford

Second, fourth and fifth Sunday of the month 10 AM said Eucharist at St Andrew’s Melton.

St Mary’s will be open for private prayer from 11 am - 3pm

on second, fourth & fifth Sundays of the month

(This may be subject to change, so please check

our websites and Facebook page regularly)


Due to social distancing regulations numbers of people allowed in church at any one time are restricted and so it is necessary to book a place each week.

(please do  not use any other email address to make a booking as your booking will not be made.  Please book in each week, bookings will only be taken on a week by week basis)


Please note that due to regulations the service will be shorter and social distancing and hygiene measures will be in place.


Access to St Andrew’s Melton will be via the Rectory driveway as the churchyard and tower door are currently closed to public access.


Due to infection control our churches are not currently open for private prayer.
